Mini-Residency Evaluation

Program Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the health care professional will have the ability to:

1. Describe the pathophysiology and relevant anatomy in relation to obstructive sleep apnea.
2. Integrate aspects of the oral exam into daily practice.
3. Explain the differences between sleep diagnostic tests.
4. Evaluate sleep reports as it relates to sleep disordered breathing.
5. Describe the patient journey from the clinician perspective.
6. Identify opportunities for integration of EMR into clinical practice.
7. Apply collaboration skills to create business opportunities.
8. Demonstrate clinical acumen through hands on application of case requirements including patient selection, verbiage, oral appliance selection, delivery, management of side effects, and proper follow up.
